Allamanda Ficus - Zuda rejection

Greetings:

Usually I don´t write this blog in english, but since I'm interested in receiving feedback from all the zuda forum community, I'll make an exception.

In 2009 some friends and I submitted 8 pages to Zuda Comics, the DC webcomic site where nowadays I'm writting EARTHBUILDERS along with R.G. Llarena, Axel Medellín and Felipe sobreiro.

In this second attempt, I worked with a different team, and the artists behind the pages are:

César Gaspar (pencils)
Ulises Grostieta (inks and colors)
Jaime Martínez (lettering)
and yours truly, Abraham Martínez (script)

This is the Synopsis:

Allamanda, daughter of the Ficus Clan, was born in the southern jungles, ruled by forest shamans, magical creatures devoted to trees and nature. As part of their initiation rite, every shaman must travel to other lands, in order to help other living creatures to grow and prosper in peace, which is the sacred duty of every shaman.

Far beyond the land where Allamanda was born, other humanoid creatures roam. Some are peaceful peasants, like the Demogres, others are reclusive and strange beings, like the Lojers, completely made of metal and always looking for minerals in the higher mountains.

In this land, always fearing the savage animals and the conjuring of magical humanoids; the humans have built their fortresses and castles, struggling to survive in a world where no human is able to spell magic.

As Allamanda enters the realms where human technology, magic and bizarre monsters collide, she will have to learn how to survive, before she can accomplish her holy mission: help the world to find its balance.

As I said, zuda rejected this entry, now is time to open the eyes, sharpen the ears and learn from it, We're interested in the feedback of the community, because it's the only way to improve!

Take a look and let me know your thoughts, please!
